Branching Out

Branching Out features the top of a leafless tree reaching across the wall. The tree is contained within a metal border.

The unique feature of this design is how Carol hand burnishes the metal to create the idea of tree bark and movement. In order to seal her art, but also change the colour, the image shown was sealed with a clear powder coat that was tinted with copper.

The ultimate effect is that the burnishing and copper will catch the light beautifully.
